What I have been watching!

Hey Lovelies! Hope everyone is well on this grey day. If you know me I am a serial series watcher and I am always interested to hear what other people are watching/ loving and what is so good about it?
If you are in school/ college/ uni summer is just around the corner and I hope you have big plans for summer, but if you are like me it's just any other day of watching Netflix all day achieving nothing.

If you don't know this about me I love pretty much every genre of film/ TV shows except for soaps and your average evening shows (BGT, Big brother, Xfactor..). Sorry, it's a no from me. I prefer TV series where you can watch it continuously. I do love horrors/ thrillers/ anything with a zombie or end of the world kinda thing, you feel me?

Lets get into this;

The Walking Dead
Obviously The Walking Dead, who doesn't love it?! I know it can get a bit repetitive but I just cannot look away, I need to know what happens and they always seem to pull it back for me! WHAT ABOUT THAT LAST EPISODE THOUGH! (if you watch it you'll know...)

Pretty Little Liars
When I first heard about this show I didn't think I would get into, I don't know why I thought that it has got everything I love in there. But I gave it ago and never looked back, what I love most about the show is I feel like the show grows with the audience, It gets scarier as it goes on. MY favourite has to be Aria and Hannah, absolutely love their personalities and styles in the show and out!

This one is quite new, I seen it on Netflix and got the idea it would be similar to the film which I did not rate any of them but this is completely different, I would explain it as a scarier, gruesome PLL. Season two is out the 30th May and I cannot wait to see how they can top season one.

Fear the Walking Dead
Season one of this I wasn't crazy for I thought it took too long to get into the actual storyline, what I appreciate the most about TWD is the attention to detail with makeup and special effect but because this is the begin of the apocalypse I felt as if the makeup wasn't as amazing. Moving on from that season two was a million times better in my opinion, I am not going to spoil it if you haven't watched it, but there was one episode which literally broke my heart!

Z Nation
When I first started watching this I thought it was ridiculous and only watched it because one of the characters looked like my boyfriend so I had to see what happened to him (that's so lame) but as I watched it I got more into it, it is not the same level as TWD and more of a comedy but there are some emotional bits in there and they are always running into new trouble, not repetitive at all. It's best watched when you don't take it too seriously...

Greys Anatomy
Do I need to talk about how amazing this show is? I'm still in utter heartbreak over Derek I don't think I will ever be able to watch it without crying, I don't think I can even talk about it! Definitely worth a watch and if you're a student nurse like me you can pretend it's revision!

Teen Wolf
I literally started watching this three days ago and I have just finished season two, NO SPOILERS PLEASE. I do not know why I kept putting it off I love it, part of me thinks I am too old to be watching TV shows about high school students as I am definitely not a teen anymore (boo). But none the less I am enjoying binging on this!

So yeah, that gives you a little insight into what I love watching, always looking for new Netflix series so please comment bellow if you have watched any of these? what are you opinions? what do you think I would love watching?

Birthday wishlist

Hey lovelies! Hope everyone is well and having a fabulous day, the weather has been amazing lately hasn't it? My birthday is next month, turning 22 (que Taylor Swift!) There is a few things that I have had my eye on for a while and might sneakily buy in Manchester. Obviously I don't expect to get all these gifts (don't these disclaimers bore you...).
Anyway, lets move on to the exciting bit!

Birthday wishlist

I have had my eye on this pre-maid palette from Mac since it came out but just couldn't justify that £65 price tag, but they have reduced the price down so I have to get it now! I can't decide between the 'cool' and 'warm' palette, I don't know what will suit my blue eyes more. A couple of repurchases are the Mac Fix+ which everyone knows is holy water, I am also in need of a new beauty blender, they are just the best thing since sliced bread.

If you know me you would know that I am obsessed with skincare, I have wanted to try the brand First aid beauty for a while after getting a couple of samples of some of their products. After hearing that Kyle Jenner swears by Mario Badescu drying lotion for getting rid of spots I have to jump on that bandwagon to get that famous Jenner/ Kardashian skin! Finally.. Sunglasses! I love them and have too many to count, at this very moment I have two pairs in my bag at this moment and a whopping six pairs in my car! I like to have options at all times, is that fair? or me justifying it to myself, anyway I am obsessed with colourful lenses at the moment, especially these Quay Australlia ones! I would love to do a sunglasses collection post for you guys, let me know if that would be something you would be interested in!

What have you guys been lusting over? Comment and let me know!

Lets start fresh!

Hey guys! I kind of lost ambition and inspiration for blogging and just genuinely not feeling myself, I know downer. Anyway I have finished university for summer and I have been looking for some hobbies to get me through the summer rather than waste it in front of Netflix (which we both know will still happen!)
Blogger seemed to be the best option!

(Image: weheartit)

So just a little update; finished university till September lots of ups and downs but I'm free for a few months! Good luck to anyone taking their final exams I feel your pain! My sister asked me to be her maid of honour which is crazy! I have never been a part of a wedding before but it's been amazing helping her plan her wedding (gives me practice) and I have the honour of planning the hen party which is a task in its self! (keeping it classy with a side of messy, not an easy task!).
Writing this blog has proved to me that I have a very uneventful life! Oooh how can I forget my favourite thing that has happened, after my little Mercedes failed its MOT I realised it's time to let the old girl go and thought it was time to get a newer more reliable car as it is becoming abit awkward breaking down EVERYWHERE! So I treated myself to a gorgeous Fiat 500 Lounge, I have been wanting this car for sooooo long but kept putting it off but now I finally have it!

(excuse the iPhone quality)
Isn't she a beaut! It's in 'Volare blue' I couldn't decide between this shade and their beige/ mushroom shade but I think I made the right choice for me personally, I absolutely love the interior and just everything! If you would like a 'what's in my car or car tour/ review' kind of blog posts where I can go into more detail about it if you're nosey like me or interested in getting one, please comment I will be more than happy!

I think that is all I have to update about, however I have some ideas for upcoming posts, but if there is anything you want me to post before hand again just comment chicks, ideas are always welcome! Not got much planned except me and my boyfriend are going to Manchester in a fortnight for a weekend of shopping, I haven't been before but my boyfriend has family there and lived/ worked over there when we first started seeing each other so he wants to give me the tour! so prepare yourself for some posts and hauls!

Project me.

Hi guys, long time no blog as per! Anywho been going through a difficult time in my life at the moment to the point everything has just towered over me. I do not think I have mentioned this previously but I suffer from anxiety and I have really been struggling at University, obviously it is a difficult course but it is more than that I feel like at this point of my life I am not ready and I feel as if I have no one to talk to or who understands. Which sounds ridiculously pathetic, but I am the type of person who does not ask for help until what ever is making me anxious basically breaks me down.

If any of you who know me you will know I am a person who always has stress no matter of the situation, I carry stress whether it is university, money, relationships, even if it is a situation that you would not consider stressful somehow I make it stressful (this is a weakness of mine that I will never lose). I have been at breaking point so many times in my life to the point I do not sleep for days, do not eat, hair falls outs in clumps and become an emotional mess!

I just kind wanted to write this post just as an update and also to just tell any struggling students out there, YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE. Yesterday I should of been starting my second year of university unfortunately I failed one awful exam by two marks causing me to have to resit and fall behind with my year. I was devastated, but now I have come to terms with what has happened. Yes it is awful that I will not be graduating with my friends in two years time but it gives me chance to better myself, become the person I want to be.

So the last couple of weeks I have been organising my life, project me. I started off small with sorting out my bedroom, donating clothes to charity and giving make up to friends and family just to clear my mind, when i start back to university next week I plan to make a routine, myself and other friends in the same position as me plan to create a study group schedule and work together. Also my big issue if I am confused or struggling I am going to seek help and not suffer in silence! Which if you are reading this and think the same thing, please ask for help or let a tutor listen and give advice.

I have made goals for myself for my 'fresh start'; read more, revise more, accept new challenges and no more negative thoughts.

Thanks for reading dolls!

Where have I been and Student Nurse update?

Hello my lovelies, oh my goodness I cannot believe how long it has been since my last post!
I have no excuse other than university work got on top of me and ate me alive, then I had not blogged in so long that I sort of got out of rhythm and just lost confidence... anyway pity party over.
I'm back! I just thought I would start of slow and just update you on whats been happening recently so... I turned the big 2-1 last week, I might do a post of what I got for my birthday, I was spoilt rotten! Went down to Minehead for a weekend with my boyfriend and then my family came down to surprise me which was lovely!

I am currently on placement with the district nursing so I am working every day, which literally is back breaking but I know it will be worth it in the end, I only have two more weeks left and then I am finished for summer woo!

I thought I would revamp this blog, and maybe discuss more about my nursing and university. Maybe answer questions that some of you aspiring nurses to be might have? or just discuss the type of things i have done and reflect upon. I know when I was apply for universities and doing my a-levels there was not many 'british student nurse blogs' so if I can help give advice to anyone then that would be lovely, even if it is 'where do you get comfy shoes/ fob watches?'

Comment bellow any nursing questions or anything you would like me to talk about.

Thanks for reading dolls!
