If you are in school/ college/ uni summer is just around the corner and I hope you have big plans for summer, but if you are like me it's just any other day of watching Netflix all day achieving nothing.
If you don't know this about me I love pretty much every genre of film/ TV shows except for soaps and your average evening shows (BGT, Big brother, Xfactor..). Sorry, it's a no from me. I prefer TV series where you can watch it continuously. I do love horrors/ thrillers/ anything with a zombie or end of the world kinda thing, you feel me?
Lets get into this;
The Walking Dead
Obviously The Walking Dead, who doesn't love it?! I know it can get a bit repetitive but I just cannot look away, I need to know what happens and they always seem to pull it back for me! WHAT ABOUT THAT LAST EPISODE THOUGH! (if you watch it you'll know...)
Pretty Little Liars
When I first heard about this show I didn't think I would get into, I don't know why I thought that it has got everything I love in there. But I gave it ago and never looked back, what I love most about the show is I feel like the show grows with the audience, It gets scarier as it goes on. MY favourite has to be Aria and Hannah, absolutely love their personalities and styles in the show and out!
This one is quite new, I seen it on Netflix and got the idea it would be similar to the film which I did not rate any of them but this is completely different, I would explain it as a scarier, gruesome PLL. Season two is out the 30th May and I cannot wait to see how they can top season one.
Fear the Walking Dead
Season one of this I wasn't crazy for I thought it took too long to get into the actual storyline, what I appreciate the most about TWD is the attention to detail with makeup and special effect but because this is the begin of the apocalypse I felt as if the makeup wasn't as amazing. Moving on from that season two was a million times better in my opinion, I am not going to spoil it if you haven't watched it, but there was one episode which literally broke my heart!
When I first started watching this I thought it was ridiculous and only watched it because one of the characters looked like my boyfriend so I had to see what happened to him (that's so lame) but as I watched it I got more into it, it is not the same level as TWD and more of a comedy but there are some emotional bits in there and they are always running into new trouble, not repetitive at all. It's best watched when you don't take it too seriously...
Do I need to talk about how amazing this show is? I'm still in utter heartbreak over Derek I don't think I will ever be able to watch it without crying, I don't think I can even talk about it! Definitely worth a watch and if you're a student nurse like me you can pretend it's revision!
I literally started watching this three days ago and I have just finished season two, NO SPOILERS PLEASE. I do not know why I kept putting it off I love it, part of me thinks I am too old to be watching TV shows about high school students as I am definitely not a teen anymore (boo). But none the less I am enjoying binging on this!
So yeah, that gives you a little insight into what I love watching, always looking for new Netflix series so please comment bellow if you have watched any of these? what are you opinions? what do you think I would love watching?
Thanks for reading!
